Coordinating Diverse Public Programs in the Library

Abstract

This article describes the programme "State of Black Oregon 2015 Report" realized in the partnership between the University of Oregon Library and the Urban League of Portland. The authors offer recommendations on creating events in collaboration with local community-centered nonprofit organizations, and describe the role and the value of the library in coordinating such events.
