Repositories of raw data – why libraries should know them?
Abstract
The author discusses new forms of acquisition and processing of raw data that result from research processes. Such forms are relatively well-known in foreign countries; however, in Poland they are not in use. The author not only defines raw data but also describes the ways they are collected and distributed. In the article one can find information and links to several repositories of raw data and information about European initiatives in this field.References
