Coming in the back door: leveraging open textbooks to promote scholarly communications on campus
Abstract
The author describes an innovative project to create alternative open e-textbooks for students of the Temple University, US. All the stages of the implementation of that idea as well as problems faced by the library staff involved in the project have been discussed. Finally, the attitude of lecturers towards the innovative methods of teaching has been presented.
