Global tools, local communication
Abstract
As based on the example of the Regional Public Library Radziechowy-Wieprz, certain aspects of the work of a librarian were presented, namely, the use of web pages, community and social platforms, and on-line questionnaires. Challenges and benefits stemming from the use of those very useful tools were pointed out, as well as their role in shaping of the institution’s positive image, maintaining a dialogue with users and catering to their needs.
