Debate over copyright – where we are at the beginning of 2013

Abstract

The author presents the current state of development regarding changes in copyright on national and European level, focusing on the aspects connected with libraries. She describes the efforts of the cultural environment to improve legal provisions in such a way, so that they could contribute to the mission of spreading knowledge. Various social initiatives which occurred in our country in the past year are presented.
