Cross-border space – the space of initiatives - from meeting to the project. Few words about the new Książnica Karkonoska project in Jelenia Gora

Abstract

The author presents e-Pogranicze project co-funded by the European Union, carried out by Jelenia Góra Center of Information and Regional Education of Książnica Karkonoska. She presents the main assumptions, goals, resulting benefits, indicates the status of implementation. Highlighs the importance of the project to document the past and present of Polish-German frontier, indicates Digital Library of Jelenia Góra  possible resources increase. She points to the genesis of a project as a result of an international librarians collaboration.
