A history of Małopolskie Studia Komiksu of Voivodship Public Library in Cracow

Abstract

Communicate shows the history of the Małopolskie Studio Komiksu Wojewódzkiej Biblioteki Publicznej w Krakowie. It discusses the origin of the idea, shaping and building the beginning collection and popularize and animating the local community. The text also raise the topic of the role which was taken by Kraków’s and national’s environments of comic book fans in the creation of MSK. Collections are also discussed and the original and current location of the collection, as well as current activities.
