The Olga Rok Scholarship Competition: women, libraries and local development

Abstract

The Olga Rok Scholarship Competition was created in 2012 in order to support personal development of women working in libraries and to promote the role of libraries in local development. The article presents the principles underlying the establishment of the scholarship, it’s management criteria, and the plans for the future.
