Library of Lodz University of Technology towards the Internationalisation of the University

Abstract

For many years Lodz University of Technology has been teaching on technical faculties in English and French, for which foreigners are also recruited. For several years it has been running the International Doctoral School. Additionally, the university takes part in the ERASMUS Programme which enables student exchange. In conjunction with internationalisation of the university foreigners are also the users of the library: students, doctoral students and employees. The library conducts many promotion activities among foreigners and tailors the service offer to their needs. The presentation discusses activities aimed at foreign user and cooperation of the library and the university in that matter.
