The second life of a library

Abstract

Gone are the days when you went to the library to get books. Of course, lending books is still the main purpose of libraries, but in recent years things have changed a lot. Not only libraries in Warsaw, Kraków or Wrocław are developing and modernising, also libraries in small towns, where they are real centres of culture and of that what is going on locally.
