Critics on norms and standardization

Abstract

The article attempts to answer the question-key topic of this issues of “EBIB Bulletin” - “Why libraries need standardization?” Discussion is focused around issues such as: documentation and library statistics, bibliographic formats, facilities, library costs ..., taking into account the librarian viewpoint, the user and organizer of the library, as well as the ability/inability to collaborate.
