PROLIB as the future prospect

Abstract

The article presents the PROLIB integrated library system aimed at various types of libraries, from academic libraries to public libraries to pedagogical libraries to school libraries. The added value of the system lies in its continuous 25 years long development, satisfying both groups - its creators and librarians. The system’s flexibility makes it convenient for its users - librarians and readers - to use its functionalities - the key ones have been described in the article.
