  • EBIB Bulletin

EBIB it is the acronim of “Electronic Library” (in Polish: Elektroniczna BIBlioteka) and means the professional electronic information platform for librarians. The platform was launched and is maintained by the group of active librarians from several scientific and public libraries in Poland.  One of the most important part of the paltform is the professional (not scientific) open access journal Bulletin EBIB - listed by Directory of Open Access Journals.

First issue of the Bulletin EBIB (Electronic Information Bulletin for Librarians – ISSN 1507-7187) appeared on the Web in April 1999 and we transformed it many times on different platforms. It is now one of the most popular journal for librarians in Poland and was in the past the first one published only in the electronic form. We have never have the paper version. Bulletin EBIB is not peer-reviewed journal because of the frequency of publications (10 issues by the year).
